How many associates do we need to qualify for Canteen's vending services?
Traditionally we would require at least 150 to support a full service vending program, but we do have several programs that can be customized for smaller numbers. Contact us to learn more.
Does Canteen make their fresh food for the vending machines?
The key to the success of our program is our exclusive relationship with our fresh food supplier, 18th Street Deli, the largest vending food provider in the Midwest. 18th Street Deli features daily delivery and operates Sunday through Thursday to give us fresh product Monday through Friday. Their facility is USDA, FDA, MDA, US Army and third party inspected continually, as well as qualifying as a FEMA provider. This ensures that they meet virtually every requirement for cleanliness and quality control. Is there a minimum sales amount Canteen will accept per machine?
The magic number for sales per machine is about $100 per week, but we do have solutions for those with lower sales. Contact us to learn more.
How can vending be healthy?
Many of the products Canteen offers meet American Heart Association and Weight Watchers criteria. Our Healthwise and Balanced Choices wellness vending programs offer your associates those choices.
How are price and commissions determined?
Pricing and commissions are directly related to each other and are developed as part of the total solution for your facility. A thorough analysis of your needs will be completed and will include type of business, number of associates, number of shifts, number of break areas and accessibility to associates, other sources of food service nearby as well as determining what your specific wants are for your program. This information along with our market experience will assist us in creating a solution that will benefit all.
What type of technology will the equipment from Canteen offer?
